Hi! I was wondering when a user log in, he/she is redirected to "root/elgg/activity" page and similarly if selected "Activity" tab from menu too.
I want it to be customized to "root/elgg/activity/owner/$username", but I don't know which section of which file I should edit. Editing core matter isn't a problem to me.
Waiting for an early response.

You must log in to post replies. You might want to try out the Login redirector plugin: https://community.elgg.org/plugins/384766.
Yes that addon works great!!!
Thanks @iionly for your reply but that plugin seems to cover only half of my requirement.
What's half of your requirements is not covered?
The Login Redirector plugin allows to configure a custom redirect. Quite straightforward explained on the plugin settings page. In your case the custom redirect to activity/owner/<username> is possible to achive with
I acknowledge that but what i'm looking for is customized page redirector:
let suppose a url "www.abc.com", now i want to redirect users to "www.abc.com/fgh" when clicked on "www.abc.com"
This plugin helps only once viz after log in, what if user manually visits to "www.abc.com" ? That won't redirect them at this time. Is it possible using Login Redirector? However, I have managed it via other means. But I was just curious if this plugin can do it.
Your initial question didn't mention this though. As I understood it you were asking for a redirect on login.
No problem, still thanks for your time. But I'd be happy to know the answer of custom page redirect if you can provide so.
When I do "[wwwroot]/activity/owner/[username]" I get a deprecated error. :-(
