Hello,
I am customizing the register form using profile manager plugin. I need a field to be multi select, luckily, profile manager offers this type of fields, so it does display on the form but whenever i hit the submit button, it says that field must be filled. I did fill it, i have even checked all the options, still displaying the same error.
Does this type of field require any special manip? what to do?
Thank's for your help

You must log in to post replies.I have the same problem.. can someone give us a hint ?
Post the question as a comment on the plugin page, it may be a known bug. The options allow you to make a field mandatory or not - so you can probably eliminate the error if you make it non-mandatory.
Sounds like a problem with the plugin. What version of elgg? Which version of the plugin?
Hello,
I am using the version 1.9 of Elgg and 8.0.2 of the plugin.
@Matt, when i set the field to be non-mandatory, it works, but i need it actually to be mandatory.
You can set it to be non-mandatory in the plugin manager settings, but run your own check to enforce it
run my own check?! How can I do this?
