Wondering if any one is interested in helping a brother out?? I am in the process of creating a network that will allow others to teach in an open social environment, and I found this really great software, open source, called Sankore', but I am having trouble figuring out how to incorporate it into the site do to my lack of knowledge on Elgg. I am using the FB theme by Evan, and really have no knowledge of creating plugins, tho I have tried to wrap my head around it for the last few weeks.... Anyone willing to show me the ropes, or possibly even attempt the building? I know there must be at least one of you here that has some free time ;)

Sankore looks like a fun project. I think the community prefers more constructive questions, and therefore is unwilling to jump into 'world-chaging' projects. Baby steps.
What have you already tried? What is about Elgg that is unclear to you? etc.
What types of integration does Sankore offer? (it looks like a standalone server-side solution, so perhaps it has an API of sorts). Most common answer to any integration questions is to look in the web services documentation.
Ropes can have multiple purposes, and buildings need a foundation.
I don't think creating a bridge between open-sankore and elgg would make much sense as it isn't a webinar software. There are these two plugins that would fullfill this kind of role:
https://community.elgg.org/plugins/1410681/2.38.3a/babelroom
https://community.elgg.org/plugins/872190/1.8.6/webinar
But I have not tried them myself.
