You must log in to post replies.What do you mean "use freichat to extend head.php?" What are you trying to do?
according to their docs they said that i should add a code before the tag in the head.php
i tried that but could not see the chat...
i tried adding this to my start.php
elgg_register_event_handler('init', 'system', 'freichat_init');
function freichat_init() {
elgg_extend_view('page/elements/head', 'freichat/freichat');
@moneya I wrote a tutorial and it's a bit crude but it works http://demyx.com/blog/view/10593/how-to-install-freichat-with-elgg-18
@moneya And I've added video on YouTube :)
@moneya : u can try this plugin https://community.elgg.org/plugins/793831/1.6.1/chat-plugin-frei-chat-for-elgg-18x . It wraps frichat as an elgg plugin.
