While I love the custom Dashboard (ability to push news and other dynamic content to everyone), I'd additionally like to have hardcoded widgets on the dashboard (so you can access your contacts or change your status). I know it can be done, but am lacking a starting-point from where to begin hacking. Has anyone attempted this yet, and if so - any luck?

You must log in to post replies.I think you best bet would be to place that widgets view.php code into your customdashboard page.
Hope this helps.
Hello, kshelton360. I am trying to do the same thing... instead of letting a user move their widgets all around their dashboard, I'd like to specify what shows where. Based on your comment, I looked around to find the widgets' view.php code... but haven't located the files. Can you provide more information? (Thanks!)
