Hi ! Elgg in Safari is not working, any ideas how to fix ?
It lets me login, and then logs out after browsing one or two pages.

Mac or PC? did you try resetting Safari? Under "File > Reset Safari..." on the mac

I knew you'd find this topic post.. sooner or later.. mi amigo MAC...
How's PF, MAR & IG smiling these days ?
PF MAR & IG; chances are, going to Joomla/CB when I get time. too many issues popping up lately. No longer interested in being a nanny.
"Nanny" LOL ;-)
==> "Pappy" !!
Hi Skot, Dhrup,
Yep, i tried the reset Safari, and even tried the Elgg 1.5rc2 release, and nothing.
Now i'm getting the error:
Is safari working for you ?
Regards,
Uddhava
what's your url?
Safari works fine on the Mac for me on my sites (whatever actually works on my sites). both version, Safari 4 and Webkit.
I think the missing token thing is a cookie error. I had an issue where my site was setup as paddlefriend.com. but if people went to www.paddlefriend.com, after logging in at paddlefriend.com they would see a token mismatch error. little different, but maybe the same starting point.
Did you try resetting Safari? make sure you get the cookies that belong to your site and try again.
Safari on PC works fine for me as well.. just tested.
I'm with skot... all fingers point to cookies.

Ohh that's why, i'm using Safari for Mac, probably it works ok in PC.
They just released a new version, 4.0.2, and still browsing the menu, logs out the user after a while.
So i still doesn't work fully.

Uddhava
You might be mixing your site's URL
e.g.
www.Udhava.com
Udhava.com
This is a common cause for token mismatch headaches ;-(
Post your site's URL here so we can try for ourselves w/ Safari
