You must log in to post replies.may be you for got to call the captch hook inside your forms
Just now i found the problems, captcha is working but not displaying. Even when i try to upload the picture, its uploading and stored in the folder but not displaying. Its simply displaying rectangle box.
And also, when i copied the file path and pasted in new window (http://localhost/elgg6/mod/tidypics/thumbnail.php?file_guid=45&size=small) and its showing the same url again in the browser.
Please correct me if anything i did wrongly....
In some themes there are missing lines.
// Add captcha hook
$form_body .= elgg_view('input/captcha');
The two files i noticed were in /mod/buddytalk/views/default/account/forms
forgotten_password.php and register.php
You can place the code just above the submit line which looks something like this.
$form_body .= "<p>" . elgg_view('input/submit', array('value' => elgg_echo('request'))) . "</p>";
thanks the above code works. I was having this capcha problem as well.
Make sure you have true type font installed on your server. Captcha cannot be shown without this.
