I already tried that. But, it's not working on Elgg 1.7
send me the zip file.. i'll test
Aliright, on my way. Thanks again Dhruva!
Search has it's own css file in 1.7 so editing main css file (views/default/css.php) does not work. I ran into this problem when I was upgrading my themes for 1.7
@imco.. thx
i checked...
@shouvik.. look into this -->
elgg17b01\mod\search\views\default\search\css.php
#searchform input.search_input {
-webkit-border-radius: 4px;
-moz-border-radius: 4px;
background-color:#FFFFFF;
border:1px solid #BBBBBB;
color:#999999;
font-size:12px;
font-weight:bold;
margin:0pt;
padding:2px;
width:180px;
height:12px;
}
. . . etc
so -- adding a search/css.php in your theme might/ should work.
Dhruva is right as always, adding a search/css.php in your theme WILL work. ;-)
