Hi,
I am a newbie to Elgg and iPhone app development. I need to send a post request to elgg from the iPhone, I have the iPhone code ready but am not sure what the url should look like to post to elgg. I have created a "servings" plugin to list free food servings in my area and would like to be able for people to add servings from the iPhone clues to where to start looking are greatly appreciated. I have seen some API documentation but I'm not the sharpest knife in the kitchen if you know what I mean so a simplified explanation would really help me. Just looking for some pointers has anyone else used the iPhone to post to elgg?
Thanks for reading,
Mike

You must log in to post replies.getting missing __token and __ts fields error when trying to follow the directions for Javascript here http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Actions#Security does anybody have working code samples for an add action using javascript in this way? I tried adding the functions to my mod/action/add but has not resolved the issue. maybe my approach is way off base?
Are you developing a native app or a web app? Can you copy/paste the code you're using? That would help us figure out what the issue is.
