Hi,
I have my own site Logo, so have no need for the site name to be dispalyed under the topbar.
I have removed the call for this in the CSS by changing pageshell.php
However, there is now a large gap between the topbar and my site logo, where the normal site name goes.
How do I get rid of this area, please?

You must log in to post replies.go to your CSS file (theme CSS) and reduce the height of the header.
@Trajan,
Thanks Very much for your quick answer - That did the trick !!!
no problem. Study the CSS file a bit, you'll find you can do a lot of things with it.
thanks, that solved my problem too. But I got another problem, when I change the height of the topbar, the system message is hidden.
@ Amir
That is strange. How could altering the topbar height affect the system message! Mind giving us your site URL?
@ Glenn : Unable to check it at your site. Since it has no login box, I can't stimulate an error.
@ Amir : Just try your luck. At CSS, keep changing the top parameter (top=?). Maybe it is set at in area that won't allow anything to be displayed on top of it.
@woodpecker
I increased the z-index of the system message (.message) on the CSS and that solved my problem. I'm running it on localhost. I didn't uploaded it to my site yet.
