Has anybody the same problem? How to fix it?

no rounded corners on IE yet and chrome has a problem displaying inset box shadows. ;) I just put a disclaimer message on the page "this page is best viewed with..." and set styles for each browser (elgg already does this in the main css file)
please make sure you're not using a theme. the theme will contain all of the CSS files needed to make changes and if you're making changes to core they will most likely not show up until you input something new to the css style. If you are NOT using a theme, I would recommend learning to make one.
