I know simplemachines forum has the feature, i.e. site admin can decide if html tags is allowed by admin. Is there a way to make the feature for elgg?
For a simple reason, this will allow a lot more flexibility to site admin to make the site more attractive.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think what Jimmy means is: is there a way to disable htmlawed for site admins?
htmlawed is ruled out and is not what I meant.
htmlawed plugin simply filters output of the post, the html code is still saved in tables. What I meant is the mechanism that filters out html code on insert process. This way, members can see the contents and site owner can do more than regular members, or absolutly without restriction on html code.
Thank you all for considering my inequry.
