Hi all,
I am trying to add an rss view to my objects, but it's not showing. Anything special I need to do/add?
I have put my rss view in plugin_name/views/rss/object/object_name.php

You must log in to post replies.the view should output something like http://community.elgg.org/pg/forum/topic/718201/adding-an-rss-view/?view=rss. might be the metas in there that matter.
doesn't it automatically pick up the rss view for all entities on the page?
need to code the xml output in the view ;)
e.g. Elgg178/views/rss/group/default.php
well, I did...
that's what I get with two entities on the actual page:

Elgg 177: All jobs

Also need views/rss/pageshells/pageshell.php and maybe others ;)
Oh gosh. Thanks, will take a look at that.
I tested around on XAMPP Elgg.1.7.8 to see some of RSS views get trigerred to output the final XML ;) May be a fair bit of 'debugging' in there to determine whihc RSS views files are needed to make it work properly ;-(
