You must log in to post replies. What version of Elgg are you using?
What happens when you try to use TinyMCE's image button?
It sounds like you're trying to add an external image with a URL and not using the Embed plugin. Can you confirm this?
I tried using the embed plugin but it said no files, maybe I need to learn how to add images to the embed files?
@Olajide: are you using Elgg 1.8.0? The embed plugin is buggy in this version. It works again to embed pictures with Elgg 1.8.1 (so far Elgg 1.8.1beta has been released).
i got the latest from softaculous 1.8.0.1, great I need to upgrade, I tried that a few times in my localhost and had some difficulties, do i just copy these files and transfer them through filezilla or is there any other following steps?
nevermind I will do that when it is not in beta form #slapswrist
