A user types his name, okays the search but fails to search. He gets an error notification saying 'Please Enter a query to search' instead of showing either no result found or result found. What must be responsible?
How do i get this problem fixed?

I have mine up and running using elgg 1.7.11 and I tested and it works in 1.7.14 You should be using the latest elgg release.

You mean your mobile search is working and you used the first url of the elgg mobile?
there is a search function in elgg mobile? is that in the free version?
There is but mine isn't working.
