You must log in to post replies.Get the user browser(google for how to find mobile browsers) and load the css as needed.
You could also create a separate mobile view for your site ...
how ?
Have a look at http://community.elgg.org/pg/forum/topic/846063/what-is-the-best-practice-for-sniffing-the-user-agent/
Ans for the Question : http://lmgtfy.com/?q=find+user+agent
Just wait a mobile plugin is being made dont reinvent the wheel ;) http://www.perjensen-online.dk/02/coming-soon-elgg-mobile-responsive-plugin/
the wheel ? didn't mark harding also code a mobile theme earlier ? should work for most people ;) there's very few elgg themes/view-sets around for mobile devices - by gillie, mark, and pedro, maybe some other un-publicized ones -- i reckon we'll find that most devs who have views developed for mobiles do not publish free gpls <= effort involved ! in the coding while the unsupportive others hang onto the sidelines for the handouts ;-P good-luck-and-have-a-good-day-mate!
Uploaded a new mobile plugin at Elggzone, just grab a copy.
