You must log in to post replies.Have you set the permissions properly as rquired by Elgg?
YesThank you. I simply had to delete and re-install elgg 1.5. But now im having another error during setting up the system settings it says, "Your data directory home/nation19/public_html/data/ is not writable" But I have the permissions st to chom 777. Have any suggestions?
I figured it out. I had two data files. One inside the public_html and one outside in my root directory. I simply deleted the data file in the public_html where it was not supposed to be. Thank you though.
Now im getting another elgg couldn't connect to the database using the given credentials error. ???????????????????? I dont understand.
