Hello,
I began working through my install with a given theme (Darkgrey) and it is working nicely. However when I try out different themes, all of the avatars or profile photos disappear. I assumed that every theme would use the same folder to store the photos but I may have been wrong. Can anyone advise how I can restore the profile photos already uploaded by users? Of course it works fine once I reactivate the theme that was active when the users were created.Thank you very much.
I have little php programming knowledge.~Ken

You must log in to post replies.First, try disabling all non-core plugins and see how it goes.
Ismayil- Thank you for your suggestion. I disabled non-core plugins and disabled Darkgrey theme (reverting to default Elgg theme) and the photos for the avatars are missing. the placeholder avatars from the Elgg core are there, but none of the photos uploaded from users. Only when I reactivate the Darkgrey theme do they re-appear...any other thoughts or suggestions?
Does this happen with all themes you test or only darkgrey?
Not really familiar with the them. I would check if the theme is register any icon hooks.
@gillie the user uploaded avatars/profile pics are only available when the darkgrey is active. other themes cannot find these photos for some reason.
