Ok guys if someone could help me out on this one it would be much appreciated.
So suddenly out of nowhere I notice that when I click on someones profile on my elgg 1.8 site and click "files", or "bookmarks" so I can view what files or bookmarks the particular user has uploaded... I get a message saying "no files". Does anyone know how I might fix this, or what is causing this issue?
Thanks in advance.

You must log in to post replies.Just guessing - if you are logged out and your site permission defaults to logged-in-user, you might see this.
I'm having the same problem. Can't find any answers. All my files are public yet not showing up on peoples profiles... Any help, ideas would be greatly appreciated.
If you go straight to the files section and not to a user's files via the profile, are the files shown in the list ("All files" for example)? Could any 3rd party plugin be responsible for the issue, i.e. have you disabled non-bundled plugins to see if this solves the issue?
Another possibility is that you may be uploading the files in groups. As the container_guids are different, they wont appear in user profiles
Actually all the files have been uploaded to groups. Is there a way to link files from groups to user profiles? Thanks for all the feedback guys! All help has been much appreciated.
