I am facing a problem with contents like if I delete some contents from site and trying to open same url it produce 500 server error instead of 404 not found error.
Due to this error webmasters tools is displaying 1000's of 500 errors which are hurting my site in ranking.
My server and elgg stats are:-
Elgg version=1.8.8
MySQL = 5.5.16
Apache = 2.2.21
PHP = 5.3.8
Below is an example of few links producing 500 error to my site. Please core team let me know is this a error handling problem or some thing wrong on my server.

So I'm guessing $page_owner is false at this line. This would be a simple patch:

Hey Steve,
I added a code provided by you now below link is not producing 500 error it is redirecting to index page with header response 302.

@ghumanz isn't that preferable to a blank screen? Otherwise you need the original plugin author to fix the plugin.
One more php error code found in logs:-
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getGUID() on a non-object in \\www\\mod\\tidypics\\pages\\photos\\owner.php on line 25
Code is below:- on line 25
Workflow for plugins: try latest version of the plugin. If error persists, leave detailed message on the plugin page. Tidypics has a recent release I believe.
I tried $owner->elgg_get_page_owner_entity();
and
$owner->set_page_owner(elgg_get_logged_in_user_guid());
Both are not working. Any idea here.
I just upgraded to latest version of tidypics, ok going to post it on plugin page.
It might help... or not: you could check if the database validator plugin reports any issues with your database (http://community.elgg.org/plugins/438616/1.3.1/database-validator). In case there are issues shown in a validation run, you could let the plugin repair them.
