Hi guys,
I'm new to Elgg =) and search which file to edit in order to change new pages' default write access/ownership (from selected dropdown-value "logged in users" to "private"), but can't find it. ++Thanks for a tip in advance! :)*

You must log in to post replies.I recall this question being brought up before. I'd do a little digging around the community.
thank you. also searched a bit - perhaps "How to overwrite default access permissions" http://community.elgg.org/pages/view/4834/ ? tried but don't really know what to do with this (if I read this correctly it's "hard-coded" in several files)
are you kidding ? that's 1200 days (~4 yrs!) old !! it's like the iron-ages of the elgg universe ;-P
* find the view that handles the access dropdown for pages plugin
* create your own plugin to overwrite that view with the access`s that you want
* btw there is no 'which file to edit' answer in the programming world ;-)
you kinda got to already know how to locate relevant code which needs changes.
