I have uploded all files to my new database using 000Webhost.
On the second step of the installation I got this message:
I did a little bit of poking around and saw that a lot of people have had the same problem, unfortunately, nome of their fixes worked for me. I tried inserting the text RewriteBase / at the top of the .htaccess file amd also tried RewriteBase /subdirname
but had no success.
I tried it without the space before the hash, that just shut down the page entirely.
I also tried to rename htaccess_dist
to .htaccess
. but that had no effect.

Thank you much. I have to call it quits for a few hours I think. Running a fever and trying to set up a website is really giving me a headache lol.
due to peak hours my account is acting up, sorry gonna have to wait till later on tonight
Thanks. I'm be in and out. Literally. I hate being sick but I hate being bored too, so I am trying to balance it out here.
got it working! the open_basedir is just a warning, hence the "yellow" box. so to get it working, just uncomment the "RewriteBase /" in the htaccess and then click refresh then next.
example: http://manacim.comze.com
file upload also works too: http://manacim.comze.com/file/view/39/img-9917jpg
But I did that, and it didn't work for me. What the heck? That was the first thing we tried. I must be doing something wrong.
Did you install it to public_html directory?
And what about premissions? I didn't mess around with any permissions at all.
Did you have to change host info at all? I know that 000webhost says you can't use localhost which is default for a lot of software.
i didn't change any permissions at all.
go to manage mysql databases page and yours should say something like this
Yup, that's what I have. I set the data foldre as a directory in the same tier as the public_html. So that it's not IN that folder.
But there has to be something I did wrong if you got yours up and running.
I tried uploading with both FileZilla and direct with their FTP client with the zipped file.
I just can't think of anything I really even did to have done something different than you.
