Hi everyone. I just wanted to find out whether more work had been done on a Moodle plugin for elgg? The idea is not only to have a single sign-on, but also to allow SCORM objects and courses created in an associated Moodle to be tracked within Elgg and appear in the Wire, etc.

You must log in to post replies. Not really. The last integration with moddle that I know of, was in elgg 1.5

This seems to be one of the most recent posts on the subject of Elgg and Moodle.
Toby's idea of passing SCORM objects/courses might be best approached using LTI.
However, I'd like to know if there is any active development in the area of Elgg+Moodle SSO anywhere in the Elgg community ?
I'm maintaining two plugins. First one is a SSO plugin and the other one connects a Moodle course to a group in Elgg.
These plugins aren't publicly available at the moment but I will consider adding them to Github once I return to work from my summer holiday in the end on July.
Hey! Any update on this Juhu on github?
These generic plugins are a bit outdated. I didn't have time to review them right now so I just added them to Github as is.

@juho.jaakkola I've installed both moodle_intergration on my elgg 1.9 site and enabled web_services, after installing the block_elgg_community and plugin update on moodle site it requested the site url, auth api and secret but I couldn't find these anywhere
I can't find any settings for this plugin in the elgg admin panel. Can I ask how I can configure these two extensions please?
Thanks
You need to generate the API secret yourself. It is a code that is used for authentication between the two systems. The URL in the block settings should be the URL of the Elgg site.
Thanks for the quick response @juho.jaakkola, how can I go about generating the API and secret myself is there any examples online to get me started.
Thanks again!
You can use any tool that generates random codes, but there is also an Elgg plugin available: https://github.com/Elgg/apiadmin
