You must log in to post replies.one more doubts whats diffrence between clearMetaData () and deleteMetaData ()
Since Elgg 1.8 we're using ElggEntity->deleteMetadata () only
thank you rvr and what about the global variables? should we define it as normal php variable?
Sure, $SESSION, $CONFIG etc works well
But I recommended to use elgg api instead of.
Of course, where it's possible )
does anyone has any idea how to update the value of a metadata instead of just deleting it?
eg.
if(!ISSET($user->notify_send)){
$user->notify_send = 'yes';
}
i was just deleting the metadata after its use
