Nice.
@Michele any plugins made in 1.9 will work in 2.0.
@Michele - I made it with 1.12 as I haven't got a 2.0 installation yet. But I can't see why it wouldn't work with 2.0, or 1.9.
Give it a try, and give some feedback here of your findings.
@Michele - well don't use it on a production site first :-)
I have only tested it on my development site, but did get emails through to gmail accounts without being marked as spam.
how to configure it?
@Michele true.
@Jacqueline you'll need a third party email provider to use this. Zoho mail offers free 10 accounts or pay using Gmail.
my server that is hosting my elgg offer unlimited email accounts ...
@Jaqueline - you need to know the hostname of the SMTP server (eg. smtp.example.com) and probarbly the port number and login credentials. All this need to be entered in the plugin settings in the admin section.
as my hosting server I get this information?
@Jaqueline - yes. Maybe they have an infopage for email questions you can consult.
Be sure to try this in a test site before using in production.
@Michele - I will look into it after Christmas.
If you find more issues, please report.
Should have released it as a beta :)
