Dont anyone care about elgg ?

From the time I have been using elgg... (more than a year)

I have reported many spammers and

look at this guy -

http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/ElggSite/read/516503/elgg-highest-rank-website-ever

He has even uploaded someone else's  plugin (rate plugin) and according to the count it has already been downloaded many times

and look what all he has written over there

"Elgg is a very good open source system however definatly not one to be use as what it was ented for (social network), will crash your site in more ways than one. "

why do we tolerate this ? and there is no report this option in Plugins...

Being sincere to elgg, I find such things ridiculous and of extreme violation... Elgg is the best open source social network I have come across... This is not Ning - who takes away your whole database and shut you out once your site on their platform becomes popular. Its not also like other platforms out there which asks $$$$  for every other addition or modification you need to implement... Once you get the logic of elgg then its all about your imagination & creativity how wild it can get..

If I can, who never had anything to do with website developement or computers, (coming altogether from a very different world, a world of hospitality & academics ) can find it simple, useful and tweak here and there then its a cakewalk for others with some sort of computer intelligence. Its all a matter of common sense, logic, learning and passion.

It also has an active community, in the sense that whatever you ask is worth answerable... there are toooo many leachers trying to get things and troubling coders without even trying to think or look or learn themselves..they all try to get spoonfeeding (even found questions like how to edit profile page, upload profile icon etc... ) But even for that the community has responded with open arms and heart....

This page is for all who support elgg and

spammers go to hell... !!!
