This plugin adds a Facebook-like wall to wall capability to the current Elgg messageboard. It replaces the history link on the messageboard. The two primary benefits are being able to view a conversation that you were not a part of and being able to leave a new message on a conversation that you were a part of. This makes the messageboard much easier to use and conversations much easier to follow.

To install, place in mod directory and then enable in tools administration making sure it is below the messageboard in the plugin list.

The plugin overrides display aspects of the default elgg messageboard plugin. It does not change the storage of messages in the database so it is always possible to go back to the original message board.

If you don't want facebook-like language, edit the en.php file in languages. There is a alternate set of strings in there that I prefer. You just have to comment out the old strings and uncomment the other ones.
