This plugin is as simple as they come but will provide a feature to educate your site users.  It adds a widget the the Gallery that can be set as a new user default widget.  It comes with 21 predefine help tips for the navigation and use of the elgg site user features.  Displaying random text tips, help, and how to's.

You can edit the display text here: mod\tips\views\default\widgets\tips\views.php to display any tips or How 2's and difine for your special needs

This plugin can also be used as a template to start drafting you own plug in.  The feature to add a plugin page has been commented out in  mod\tips both index and start.php however the full plugin is in the file.

Works with 1.5 and should work also with 1.6
