Announcing Elgg Camp Italy!
I am pleased to announce that thanks to Social Business World, the first ever Elgg Camp Italy will take place May 20th - 22nd, 2016 in Montelabbate, Italy!
Through the sponsorship of Social Business World and The Elgg Foundation, many core Elgg developers, Elgg implementors, and users will be present. Michele outlines the details and goals for ECI16:
[This] will be...a triple track event where three groups of people - developers, users, manufacturers - will be able to not only meet each other and share great time together but also actively participate in building a better community and give forward.

it will be great to connect with so many elggers, plus enjoy the sites and sun too. is anyone going to film the bits that are worth filming? i don't think i've ever seen a video from a previous elgg camp - or are you all shy? (or unable to be filmed due to contracts with modelling agencies?)

Booked my ticket last week. Looking forward to a warm May weekend in Italy. It's been a while since my last visit.
@Michele, I have tried to register and login like a gazillion times and I gave up. Facebook login failed, normal registration went through then your IP spam filter kicked in and wouldn't let me login, I tried with a different email without luck, then I wasn't sure which of the emails I actually registered with... Speaking of UX :)

it seem italy hasn't learned yet that coders' ability to communicate with hands has had to wither away - like the ability to rotate our ears in 180 degrees went from humans too. talking with hands means less time coding. :)

I am making myself comfortable in Pesaro, overseeing Adriatic Sea from my hotel window. Thanks to Michele for picking me up in Bologna and making it a quick and fun car journey (I think he was too engaged in a conversation and didn't realize how fast he was driving ;) Looking forward to meeting the rest of the crew tonight and tomorrow.
