It's about time for another Elgg event, and I'm please to introduce Jeroen Dalsem of ColdTrick IT Solutions with an announcement about the next ElggCamp: ElggCamp Amsterdam!
After a great ElggCamp San Francisco it is now time for an ElggCamp in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Hosted by ColdTrick IT Solutions, ElggCamp Amsterdam will take place on June 14th, 2013 and will bring a mix of people together in the Planetarium. Expect developers, designers, communication specialists but also end users and people who are new to Elgg. This event will bring all these people together to share their experiences with Elgg. The day will be filled with talks about Elgg divided into a general / end user track and a developer track, but there will also be a lot of time to meet new people. Register soon because tickets are limited.
Check out the site elggcampams.com/english for more information. We hope to see you there!

Ditto ^?
I got info from @Jeroen Dalsem that there are no videorecordings but we can count on "more photos and the presentations on the ElggCampAMS website very soon".
Slides/transcripts/notes would be great.
Here are some of my photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yys39w56gbtg049/qrUdCc57oM
(I took them with a phone, so sorry for the bad quality!)
Would be great to have the slides on elggCampAMS site and/or elgg.org site.
Below are some handouts from our presentation:

In case there's an interrest in it, we can also prepare a record of this presentation, as it's probably hard to understand everything just from slides and handouts.
I heard Jeroen is also preparing a page with all presentation files listed in the same place.
Some videos, info or slides will be good
Thanks Mike (vazco), interesting stuff.

@Mike, yes, there is interest :)
I think Mike meant mostly this link: http://vazco.eu/news/view/648005
Uhm, sorry for bad link... We'll prepare video version probably by Friday.
Michele, as always, we're extremely busy... and it occurs that preparing video conference well takes some time and investigation. We already planned recording for tomorrow however, so "we'll prepare" part indeed will be done by Friday, this Friday. "we'll post" part will be probably done by Monday next week.
Thanks for reminding, interrest from a lot of people proves that this is something that in fact will be usefull and is worth time spent on it.
Please find three videos regarding performance below:
Elgg and performance - basics
Elgg and performance - problems and solutions
Elgg and performance - high-load solution
I hope that you will find them usefull.
You will find one more video on our Youtube channel. We plan to add some more videos in a close future, covering some other aspects of Elgg development. In case you're interrested in those, you can subscribe to our Youtube channel.
Thanks Mike!
I found them very useful, though I haven't had any experience with node.js servers which appears to be a major part of your solution - so I've got more learning to do I guess. It can be added to the pile :)
Couldn't attend the ElggCampAMS? Or want more? No fear! ElggCamp Deluxe is here..
