if no slash "/" after "?" ==> ok

* The problem is b/c "GET" --mod_security is applying anti-CSRF rules to block b/c it looks like a forgery.

*If we used "POST to pass the to-be-bookmarked URL -- mod_security will allow the post request as considered safe.

@varghese. How did you resolve the issue? I contacted to my hostgator and they said that I need to change the .htaccess file and they can't help me in that.

(1)    "A simple site" ==> yes, can be put up quickly - no frills, nothing fancy - This I could do quite easily !

(2)    What are your realistic objectives ? You probaly will want to extract data from your MovieCoupons WordPress site and load to the new Elgg-based site, Correct ? If so -- this will take more effort.

(3)    If you're lookingfor a quick simple to get going, but with some spice -- there are themes and ( hopefully easier ) customizations - eg CustomIndex which can do the job to sme degree. Further *customization => more effort.

Try rmoving the active theme plugin from your mod folder. Then clear your cache, that should put you on the default theme. See how it looks then.

yes, there should  be a whole mysql section that among other things lists the Client API version (mine is 5.0.67)

I am a bit puzzled why anyone would run an Apache and PHP based app on a Windows host for anything except localhost testing and development. Linux based hosts usually provide much better server environments and are usually cheaper too.

But your choice.

In any case, for Windows I recommend that you install an all-in-one package like XAMPP or WAMP.

Well what do you know!  A good reboot was all it needed :)

But you make a good point Kevin:  I should put Linux on one of my machines just for my PHP projects.  As I whiped this computer, I was literally dreading the amount of time I knew I'd waste getting the trifecta up and running again...  Now all I have to do is get ELGG to work :)
